Combining 3D Printing Technologies

Updated: Jan 16

When you need to make a prototype that is as cheap as possible but also ensures functionality is maintained for testing we tend to combine 3D printing technology.

What this allows us to do is create strong parts where they are required and cheap parts where form is the only factor.

This customers prototype is a perfect example. Using Stereolithography (SLA), HP MultiJet Fusion (MJF) and Select Laser Melting (SLS) we made this fully functional 450mm wide prototype. With SLA Main Body, PA12 nylon handles and foot pedal and Aluminium pins to make it look really good.
